Registration Opens On or About October 1, 2023

Essex Community Outreach Corporation, in collaboration with Casey Family Programs, the YMCA of Greater Seattle and other sponsors and partners, will host Cinematique: Fostering Community and Connection. This year, we are investing to expand the event for greater impact and to serve even more foster and underserved youth and families in our region. 

Planning for Cinematique 2023 is underway in earnest. After having to turn away hundreds of families in 2022 due to capacity constraints, we are making bold investments in our event location and logistics to significantly increase our capacity to serve.  We are pleased to share that Cinematique 2023 will be held at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue Emerald Ballroom and Foyer.

Here are a few details about the event:

• What: Cinematique: Fostering Community and Connection

• Who:  Welcoming registered and confirmed foster and underserved youth and their families

• Date: Saturday, December 23, 2023

• Check-in Time for Registered Youth and Families:  10 am  

• Resource Fair: 10 am - 1 pm

• Location:  Hyatt Regency Bellevue, Regency Ballroom, 900 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue, WA, 98004

Youth and Families invited to Attend are eligible for the following, courtesy of our partners and sponsors (while supplies last):

• Movie Passes for all attending family members to a showing a movie of your choice at Cinemark Lincoln Square.

• An Amazon Gift Card (one per family

• Cinemark cards for all attending family members towards the purchase of refreshment at Cinemark Lincoln Square.

• A complimentary, Try-It Membership at the YMCA of Greater Seattle

• A gift bag (one per family) of resources and sponsored tickets, passes, and gifts for the whole family from our generous sponsors, including:  Complimentary passes such as ice skating, Seattle Art Museum, MoPop, Lucky Strike Power Play cards, Seattle Aquarium, Bellevue Botanical Gardens, Sponsor Gift Cards.
