Cinematique:

Fostering Community and Connection

Essex Community Outreach Corporation, working in collaboration with sponsors and resource providers, will host Cinematique: Fostering Community and Connection -- a resource fair and movie event, now in its 12th year, for foster and underserved youth and their families.

Our primary goal is to reach foster and underserved youth in middle and high school and their families and connect them with resources to encourage graduating from high school, pursuing higher education, and living a healthy lifestyle using cinema as a fun, holiday attraction.

Important Info

Youth and Families invited to attend are eligible for the following, courtesy of our partners and sponsors (while supplies last):

Movie Passes for all attending family members to a showing a movie of your choice at the Cinemark Lincoln Square.
A Gift Card (one per family)
Cinemark gift cards for all attending family members towards the purchase of refreshments at the Cinemark Lincoln Square.
A complimentary, Try-It Membership at the YMCA of Greater Seattle
A gift bag (one per family) of resources and sponsored tickets, passes, and gifts for the whole family from our generous sponsors, which in the past have included complimentary passes for ice skating, Museums, MoPop, Aquariums, Botanical Gardens, and other sponsored Gift Cards.
